3 unexpected Wizards standout in blowout loss against Memphis
Washington loses 135-115 to Memphis Grizzlies
After the Washington Wizards' blowout loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, there were a few unexpected standouts for the Wizards. With Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis sidelined due to injuries, Deni Avdija, Rui Hachimura, and Monte Morris stepped up in their absence.
Deni Avdija
Avdija had a breakout game, finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. He was aggressive on both ends of the court and played with a lot of energy. He was a key part of the Wizards' success in the first half, helping them build a 10-point lead at one point.
Rui Hachimura
Hachimura also had a solid game, scoring 19 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. He was efficient from the field, shooting 7-of-12, and he also hit a couple of three-pointers. Hachimura was active on the boards and played solid defense.
Monte Morris
