After ODI Success, Rizwan Eyes T20I Series Win In Australia
Babar Azam's deputy Mohammad Rizwan has set his sights on winning the upcoming Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Australia, starting on October 4.
Pakistan recently clinched the ODI series 2-1 against the Aussies, with Rizwan playing a key role throughout the matches.
The right-handed batter, who is known for his consistency and ability to anchor the innings, believes that Pakistan has the potential to overcome the challenge of playing in Australian conditions.
"We have been playing some good cricket in recent times, and we are confident that we can continue our good form in the T20I series," Rizwan said.
"Australia is a strong team, but we have the belief that we can beat them. We just need to execute our plans well and play to our strengths."
Rizwan is one of the most experienced players in the Pakistan team, and his leadership will be crucial in the upcoming series.
The 30-year-old has scored over 2,000 runs in T20Is, and he will be looking to add to his tally in Australia.
"I am always looking to improve my game and contribute to the team's success," Rizwan said.
"I will try my best to score runs and help Pakistan win the series."
