Ben Simmons Questionable for Nets Debut
Brooklyn's Big Three May Have to Wait
Simmons Listed Questionable with Calf Tightness
The Brooklyn Nets have listed Ben Simmons as questionable for his highly anticipated debut with the team on Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings.
Simmons, who was acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers in February, has been dealing with a left calf tightness and did not participate in the team's shootaround on Wednesday.
The Nets are hoping that Simmons will be able to play, as they are looking to build chemistry with their new Big Three of Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving.
What Simmons' Absence Would Mean
If Simmons is unable to play, it would be a big blow to the Nets' hopes of making a deep playoff run.
Simmons is a three-time All-Star and one of the best defenders in the NBA.
He would provide the Nets with a much-needed playmaker and defender.
Other Nets Injury Updates
In addition to Simmons, the Nets also have several other players who are dealing with injuries.
Joe Harris is out with an ankle injury, while Seth Curry is questionable with a groin injury.
The Nets are hoping that all three players will be able to play against the Kings.
