Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert is relishing the prospect of a hostile reception when she returns to Glasgow to face former club Celtic in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old spent three years with Celtic before moving to Chelsea in 2016, and she is expecting a tough test against her old team.
"I'm expecting a hostile reception, but I'm also excited to go back and play against my former club," Cuthbert said. "I had three great years at Celtic and I still have a lot of friends there.
"It's going to be a special occasion for me, and I'm hoping that we can get a good result."
Cuthbert has been in impressive form for Chelsea this season, scoring four goals in seven appearances in all competitions.
She will be hoping to continue her good form against Celtic, and help her team secure a place in the next round of the Champions League.
The match between Celtic and Chelsea will take place at Celtic Park on Wednesday, September 29, at 7:45pm.
Cuthbert's return to Glasgow
