The Colorado Avalanche announced today that they have partnered with Hockey Fights Cancer for the 2023 campaign. The team will host a variety of special events and initiatives throughout the season to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer. "We are proud to partner with Hockey Fights Cancer and support their mission to fight cancer," said Avalanche President and General Manager Joe Sakic. "Cancer has touched the lives of so many people in our community, and we are committed to doing our part to help find a cure." As part of the partnership, the Avalanche will wear special lavender jerseys during their home game on February 4th against the St. Louis Blues. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game, with proceeds benefiting Hockey Fights Cancer.
