Cuthbert relishing a 'hostile reception' on Glasgow return
Ex-Celtic defender set to face old club for Queen's Park
Cuthbert left Celtic in the summer after 10 years at Parkhead
Former Celtic defender Jack Cuthbert is relishing the prospect of a "hostile reception" when he returns to Parkhead with Queen's Park on Saturday.
The 23-year-old left Celtic in the summer after 10 years at the club, and he is now looking forward to facing his old side in the Scottish Cup.
"I'm expecting a hostile reception, but that's part and parcel of the game," Cuthbert told the Glasgow Times.
"I'm just looking forward to getting back to Parkhead and playing in front of the fans again."
Cuthbert made over 100 appearances for Celtic, and he was part of the team that won the Scottish Premiership title in 2018.
He left the club in the summer after falling out of favor with manager Neil Lennon, and he has since joined Queen's Park.
Queen's Park are currently second in the Scottish League One, and they will be looking to cause an upset when they face Celtic on Saturday.
"We're going to go there and give it our all," Cuthbert said.
"We know it's going to be a tough game, but we're up for the challenge."
