England prepare for final Nations League group matches, plus Coote updates
England face Italy and Germany in Nations League Group A3
Gareth Southgate's side travel to Milan to face Italy at the San Siro on Friday, September 23, before heading to Wembley Stadium to host Germany on Monday, September 26.
The Three Lions are top of the group after winning their opening two matches, against Hungary and Italy.
However, they will be looking to improve their record against the top sides, having lost 1-0 to Italy at Molineux in June and drawn 1-1 with Germany in Munich last month.
Coote to make international debut for England
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emily Coote has been called up to the England squad for the first time.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Villa this season, keeping three clean sheets in her first four games.
She will join Arsenal's Mary Earps and Manchester United's Hannah Hampton in the squad.
Villa must be proud to have an England Lioness in their ranks
Aston Villa Women's Head Coach Carla Ward was delighted with the news of Coote's call-up.
"Em has been in excellent form for us this season, and I am delighted that she has been rewarded with a call-up to the England squad," Ward said.
"This is a great moment for Em and for Aston Villa. It shows that we are a club that is developing young players and that we are on the right track."
