'Full House' star Dave Coulier announces 'aggressive' cancer diagnosis

Dave Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone on the popular sitcom 'Full House,' has announced that he has been diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of cancer.
The 65-year-old actor, comedian, and podcaster shared the news with fans on Instagram on Monday, July 10.
"I've been dealing with some health issues lately, and I wanted to share with you all what's going on," Coulier wrote.
"I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, and I'm currently undergoing treatment," he continued. "The prognosis is good, but the road ahead will be tough."
Coulier did not specify what type of cancer he has been diagnosed with.
"I'm not going to lie, I'm scared," Coulier wrote. "But I'm also determined to fight this and come out on the other side."
"I have the best doctors and the support of my family and friends," he continued. "I know I can beat this."
Coulier thanked his fans for their support and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
"Your prayers and positive thoughts mean the world to me," he wrote.
"I'll keep you all updated on my progress," Coulier concluded.
Coulier's diagnosis comes as a shock to many fans, who remember him as the lovable and goofy Joey Gladstone on 'Full House.'
The actor has continued to work steadily since the show ended in 1995, appearing in films and television shows such as 'Fuller House,' 'The Goldbergs,' and 'American Housewife.'
Coulier has also been a successful podcaster, hosting the 'Full House Podcast' with his former co-stars Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin.
Fans and friends have taken to social media to express their support for Coulier and his family.
