Golden Knights' loss 'not on' Hill despite getting pulled in 2nd period
Vegas' netminder believes he'll get another chance to prove himself
Hill gives his thoughts on the loss
Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill was pulled from Tuesday's game against the San Jose Sharks after allowing three goals on 12 shots in the second period. The Golden Knights went on to lose the game 5-2, and Hill's record fell to 2-4-0 on the season.
Hill said after the game that he was "not happy" with his performance, but he also said that he believes he will get another chance to prove himself.
"It's not on me," Hill said. "I have to be better, but it's not all on me. We have to play better as a team."
The Golden Knights have now lost four of their last five games, and they are currently in seventh place in the Pacific Division.
Hill said that he is "confident" that the Golden Knights can turn things around.
"We have a good team," Hill said. "We just have to find a way to put it all together."
The Golden Knights will host the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night.
