'Hearthstone' 2025 Development Roadmap Reveals 3 Expansions, Starcraft Mini Set - Trailer
Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the Hearthstone 2025 development roadmap, which includes three new expansions, a StarCraft mini-set, and a variety of other updates.
The first expansion, Voyage to the Sunken City, will be released in April 2025 and will introduce over 130 new cards to the game, including a brand new keyword: Dredge. The expansion will also add a new game mode called Underwater Explorers, in which players will compete to collect treasure from the ocean floor.
The second expansion, Ashes of Outland, will be released in August 2025 and will introduce over 130 new cards, including a new keyword: Outcast. The expansion will also add a new game mode called Battlegrounds+, which is a revamped version of the popular Battlegrounds mode.
The third expansion, United in Stormwind, will be released in December 2025 and will introduce over 130 new cards, including a new keyword: Tradeable. The expansion will also add a new game mode called Duels+, which is a revamped version of the popular Duels mode.
In addition to the three expansions, Blizzard Entertainment will also release a StarCraft mini-set in June 2025. The mini-set will include over 30 new cards based on the popular RTS game StarCraft.
Blizzard Entertainment also announced a number of other updates coming to Hearthstone in 2025, including:
- A new ranked mode called Legend+
- A new card type called Artifacts
- A new event called The Grand Tournament
- A new Battlegrounds hero called Ragnaros
- A new Duels hero called Illidan Stormrage
Hearthstone is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The game was released in 2014 and has since become one of the most popular card games in the world. Hearthstone is available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
