LeBron James Makes Scotty Pippen Jr. Statement Before Lakers-Grizzlies

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had some high praise for his opponent, Scotty Pippen Jr., and his father, Scottie Pippen, before the Lakers took on the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.

James, who is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, said he was a "huge fan" of Pippen Jr. and that he was "impressed" with his game. He also praised Pippen Sr., who was a six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls.

"I'm a huge fan of Scotty Pippen Jr.," James said. "He's a great young player and he's only going to get better. I'm really impressed with his game."

"His father was one of the best to ever do it," James added. "He was a great defender and he could score the ball. He was a complete player."

Pippen Jr. is a 21-year-old guard who was drafted by the Grizzlies with the 51st overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft. He is the son of Scottie Pippen, who was a six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls.
