Mountaineers look for ways to improve offensive execution when unable to get in transition
Mountaineers struggling to score late in games
West Virginia has struggled to score late in games this season, failing to reach 70 points in its last three games and scoring just 59 points in a loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday.
The Mountaineers have been particularly ineffective in the half-court offense, shooting just 38.5% from the field in the last three games.
Mountaineers looking for answers
West Virginia coach Bob Huggins is looking for answers to his team's offensive struggles, and he said he is considering making some changes to the starting lineup.
Huggins said he is also considering changing the team's offensive scheme, but he said he wants to see how the team responds to some lineup changes first.
The Mountaineers have a talented roster, but they have not been able to put it all together on a consistent basis this season.
West Virginia is now 13-6 overall and 2-4 in the Big 12, and they will look to get back on track when they host Texas on Wednesday night.
