George Washington (D.C.) St. John’s College High School power forward James Brown is the No. 31 overall prospect and No. 6 power forward in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
The 6-foot-9, 215-pound Brown is a skilled big man who can score inside and out. He’s also a good rebounder and defender.

Brown is down to four schools: Michigan, Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina.
All four schools are blue bloods with rich basketball traditions.
