Xavion Staton Commits to BYU Over Big Ten

Provo, Utah – On Tuesday, highly touted 7-foot center Xavion Staton announced his commitment to play for the Brigham Young University (BYU) Cougars. Staton, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, chose BYU over several other top programs, including several Big Ten schools.

Staton’s Impressive Resume

Staton is a consensus four-star recruit and is considered one of the top centers in the 2023 class. He averaged 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game during his senior season at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis.
