The Music Man will open on Broadway for a limited run at the Winter Garden Theatre on October 10, 2022, following previews beginning on September 9, 2022.

The new production will be directed by four-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle. The Music Man has a Tony Award-winning score with music, lyrics, and book by Meredith Willson, which features timeless songs such as “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Till There Was You,” and “The Wells Fargo Wagon.”

The Music Man is one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, having won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Actor (Robert Preston), and Best Featured Actress (Barbara Cook), when it first opened in 1957. The original production ran for 1,375 performances and has been revived on Broadway three times, most recently in 2003.

With Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster in the lead roles, the upcoming revival of The Music Man is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated Broadway productions of the year. Tickets for the production will go on sale later this year.
