Jackson Dean receives his first RIAA Gold single for his debut song “Don’t Come Lookin’” and Platinum for his debut album, “Greenbroke.” Dean’s album also hit the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with the single “Don’t Come Lookin’” peaking at No. 14 on the Country Airplay chart.

Blake Shelton has released a new song, “No Body.” Shelton co-wrote the song with Jessi Alexander and Ashley Gorley. It will be featured on Shelton’s upcoming album, Body Language.

Lifetime Achievement Award

George Strait will receive the Academy of Country Music’s Poet’s Award. The award is given to a “songwriter who has made significant and lasting contributions to the art of songwriting.” Strait has written or co-written 60 of his No. 1 hit songs.
