USC Survives Scare; Defeats UT Arlington
Trojans Win Fourth Straight After Close Call
USC held on for a nail-biting victory against UT Arlington on Tuesday night, winning 67-64.
The Trojans (4-0) were led by Boogie Ellis' 17 points, while Tre White added 16 points and Reese Dixon-Waters chipped in 10 points.
UT Arlington (2-2) was led by David Azore's 21 points, while Shemar Wilson added 15 points and Brandon Williams scored 10 points.
The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than six points.
USC took a 32-28 lead into halftime, but UT Arlington came out firing in the second half and took a 44-43 lead with 14:54 remaining.
The Trojans regained the lead and held on for the victory.
"It was a great win for us," USC coach Andy Enfield said. "UT Arlington is a very good team and they gave us a great challenge."
