Panthers Look To Bounce Back Against Longwood Wednesday
Georgia State Had Historic Win Over Georgia Tech
After a tough 2 point loss Saturday vs Evansville, Georgia State returns to the court Wednesday night to take on Longwood in GSU Sports Arena. Tip-off for the contest is set for 7:00 p.m.
GSU (6-4) opened the season 6-2 with the highlight being a 72-69 victory over Georgia Tech. Corey Allen’s layup with two seconds remaining lifted the Panthers to the historic victory.
Longwood Is 8-5
Longwood, a member of the Big South Conference, enters the game with a record of 8-5. The Lancers had a eight game winning streak snapped last night with a 80-61 loss at South Florida.
Wednesday’s contest will be the third of five this season inside GSU Sports Arena for the Panthers. GSU is 2-0 at home this season and 50-10 since the arena opened in 2015-16.
